Worship Ministries
ACOLYTES serve at Sunday Mass and other liturgies as scheduled. Ministries include being a crucifer, torch bearer, thurifer, altar server, or Gospel bearer. Open to both older children and adults
LECTORS read a lesson or lead the Prayers of the People during mass or other liturgy as appointed. Open to all
WORSHIP LEADERS are lay persons licensed by the Bishop to lead public worship (read the daily offices of morning or evening prayer and lead other non-Eucharistic liturgies)
EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS are licensed by the bishop to administer the chalice during mass
USHERS assist at mass by greeting all who enter, handing out bulletins, and taking up the collection at the offertory
ALTAR GUILD prepares the altar for the sacred liturgies; maintains, cleans and polishes the sacred appointments and vestments of the parish
FLOWER GUILD selects and arranges the weekly flowers for the high altar and Lady Chapel. It also decorates the church at special times during the year such as Holy Week, Eastertide, and Christmastide
