Evening Bible Study

Join us for Evening Bible Study this Fall,
Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, in the Library.

We join together each Wednesday evening to study scripture, pray, and discern together, making Christ known in the other and to each other. We invite you to join us at any time that you can!

Following the Revised Common Lectionary, we study one of the passages for the upcoming Sunday, so that we enter church on Sunday ready to receive the lessons. Our process is modeled after the Kaleiodoscope Bible Study process developed by the Rev. Eric H. F. Law of the Kaleidoscope Institute.

If you cannot make Wednesday nights, you may follow along with our bible study process online. The reflection questions which we consider each week will be posted here every Thursday.

If you are interested in being trained to lead a bible study group using this format on another evening or at a different time, please contact Sarah Gonzales Busse.

Respectful Communication Guidelines

R - Accept RESPONSIBILITY for what you say and feel without blaming others.
E - Listen with an ENERGIZED heart.
S - Be SENSITIVE to differences in communication styles.
P - PONDER on what you hear and feel before you speak.
E - EXAMINE your own assumptions and perceptions.
C - Keep CONFIDENTIALITY.
T - TRUST ambiguity because we are not here to debate who is right or wrong.
