WORSHIP

In the best spirit of the catholic tradition, our worship stives to be
dignified and yet relaxed while offering the variety and majesty afforded
by The Book of Common Prayer.
SUNDAYS
8:00 AM SAID HOLY EUCHARIST WITH SERMON AND MUSIC
10:30 AM SOLEMN CHORAL HOLY EUCHARIST WITH SERMON AND HYMNS
4:00 PM SOLEMN CHORAL EVENSONG (AS ANNOUNCED)
WEDNESDAYS
10:30 AM SAID HOLY EUCHARIST WITH UNCTION (HEALING)
Sunday worship offers two styles of worship. The 8:00 a.m. Eucharist is Rite I, a Low Mass, in traditional language with no sung music or incense. The 10:30 a.m. Eucharist is High Mass, with choir, chant, hymns, incense and modern language. On major feasts and other special days we enhance our worship with increased ceremonial, festal vestments and special music such as brass and strings.
On Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., a service of said Holy Eucharist with Prayers and Laying on of Hands for healing is offered.
Solemn Choral Evensong is sung several times throughout the year as part of our Soli Deo Gloria series, and from time to time Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament is observed. Retreats, quiet days, labyrinth walks and workshops, and other events of prayer and contemplation are offered and are announced on the calendar page.
