Every Sunday we pray, “Merciful Father, in your compassion forgive us our sins, known and unknown, things done and left undone.” What is (y)our default understanding of “sin”? How does sin affect us and others? How is sin linked to “suffering,” ours and Jesus’? Is sin mostly individual or social? How does “Jesus save us from sin”? In other words, what is “salvation” in relation to sin? Join fellow parishioner, Greg Zuschlag (professor of theology), over the course of five Sundays exploring these vital theological questions —especially as grounded in the biblical witness of the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures —during this penitential season of Lent.
