Our Lord’s Table Food Ministry
Help us feed our community through Our Lord's Table food pantry! Volunteers meet at the warehouse at the back of the parking lot on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 8:45am to assist with distribution. We also do a monthly food collection at church on the 1st Sunday of the month to help keep our 24/7 food pantry box on Grayson Street stocked. Check out the list of nonperishables by clicking here. The next service opportunity is Saturday, 5/2 to volunteer at the food pantry.
“A Natural History of the Dragon”: A Multi-Sensory Reading
Our very own Kelly Grey Carlisle, author and associate professor of English at Trinity, will join us for a reading of her essay about Durham Cathedral, climate change, the Venerable Bede, and the ends of worlds. This special Earth Day event includes incense, images, and live music from the choir.
Wednesday Bible Study
Join a group of faithful learners as we read the Book of Acts! The group meets together for round table conversation, with room for everyone to participate as much (or as little) as they like — but everyone walks away having learned something new. After Bible Study there is a Healing Eucharist at noon in the church.
How To: Holy Eucharist
For Eastertide, Fr. Brian will lead our class as we walk through the movements of the Holy Eucharist. Where do our prayers come from? Why do we do what we do? Step-by-step, we'll explore the logic of the liturgy and dive into the details. You'll get to practice what we learn in class in worship, with a richer appreciation for the traditions and theology behind the central act of our community!

Easter Egg Hunt
We will host our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday in the courtyard after the 10:30 AM Mass. Bring a bucket or basket for your child!
Help us stuff eggs on Palm Sunday, 3/29 in the parish hall after the 10:30am mass. You can also help by bringing donations of candy or non-candy toys for toddlers.
Consider the Birds
Join the Rev. Brian Fox and Professor Mark Menjivar, our Artist in Residence this Lent, at 9 AM sharp for a bird-watching tour where we’ll reflect on grace, migration & attention. Meet at the Blue Star near the Contemporary. We’ll walk along the Riverwalk. Wear Comfortable shoes!

Lenten Dinner at the Church of the Resurrection, Episcopal
This year we continue our partnership with other local Episcopal churches for our Lenten programming. Each Wednesday, starting at 5:30 pm, we will travel to a different church, eat dinner together, hear a presentation from clergy and parishioners exploring the unique liturgies that make up Holy Week, and pray Compline together.
Military Matters: Prayers at the Peace Shrine
We'll have a very brief prayer service after the 10:30am Mass at the Peace Shrine at the back of the church, as we pray for our military prayer list, our leaders, and all those impacted by war and recent military actions.

Every Sunday we pray, “Merciful Father, in your compassion forgive us our sins, known and unknown, things done and left undone.” What is (y)our default understanding of “sin”? How is sin linked to “suffering,” ours and Jesus’? How does “Jesus save us from sin”? In other words, what is “salvation” in relation to sin? Join fellow parishioner, Greg Zuschlag (professor of theology), over the course of five Sundays exploring these vital theological questions during this penitential season of Lent.

Artist in Residence: Mark Menjivar
We’re excited to announce that St. Paul’s is hosting an artist in residence for the season of Lent! Mark Menjívar is a San Antonio-based artist and Associate Professor in the Interdisciplinary School for Engagement at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Patronal Feast & Fiesta!
We'll gather our whole church family together after the 10:30 AM Mass to celebrate our patronal feast: the Conversion of St. Paul. We'll have a party in the parish hall with a catered meal! Fr. Brian will give a brief "state of the union" address for the new year, and we'll celebrate a change in leadership by thanking the outgoing vestry members and electing a new vestry class.
