We’re excited to announce that St. Paul’s is hosting an artist in residence for the season of Lent! Mark Menjívar is a San Antonio-based artist and Associate Professor in the Interdisciplinary School for Engagement at the University of Texas at San Antonio. His art practice primarily consists of creating participatory projects while being rooted in photography, oral history, archives, and social action. He is a longtime friend of St. Paul’s (his kids attended our Montessori School!). Mark’s exhibit Murmurations is currently on view at the Contemporary at Blue Star, and he is partnering with St. Paul’s for a few special events:

• He contributed artwork for postcard devotionals sent to participants of our digital fast

• He will host a bird-watching workshop for St. Paul’s on Saturday, March 28th

• We are collaborating on a special Stations of the Cross service on Good Friday, April 3rd
